kappa perfect 6.5"

is it possible, with a custom bracket, to mount a 6.5" woofer in the doors on an s13?

I got 5 1/4" Kappas in my doors. Doesn't have any mounts, but they're just screwed in the door (thank you very much previous owner ). Anyway they pretty much fill up the hole, you might have to do some cutting to fit a 6 1/2" speaker.

don't get perfects unless you plan to amp them w/ over 50 watts RMS...

just go for kappas if you're runnin them off the headunit.

I just installed Infinity Kappa 462.5's in front and 62.5's rear. I would not advise running them off of the HU unless you have one really powerful HU that is putting out really clean power. I am going to have to get an amp right away since I put these Kappas in.

They will sounds day and night difference with a clean amp.

EDIT: Guess I should have read the rest of the thread before replying..... Oh well. AMP AWAY!!!! Great sound on the Kappas, just make sure your amp is putting out clean power - no cheap stuff!

would it sound alright if i ran a pair of kappa perfect components and a 10" infinity sub in the trunk, amped of course (no back speakers)?

believe it or not, most of the guys that do the car audio competitions only have front speakers, and minimal rear fill because it can through off the staging
