Looking for turn-on lead
Well this is the first time I have ventured into car audio, and I think I got eveything installed right.
I have 8Gauge wire running from the battery to the trunk, with a 25A fuse installed 14" from the battery (It's a Basslink, not some crazy 60A setup).
So my question is, where is my turn on lead? I've done tons of research and everyone says it's the blue wire on the harness going into the head unit, but some say its the blue wire with the white stripe.
I broke my old *** multimeter about a week ago and dont want to tap into the wrong wire... Please let me know guys.

depending on which aftermarket cd player you have will determine the color of the turn on lead... on head units with both blue and blue with a white stripe then it is usually the blue white wire... mostly pioneer units have both a power antenna wire (solid blue) and a remote turn on lead (blue white)...
this only applies to aftermarket stereos... it will be different if you are using stock head units...

Thanks for the reply.
I went back to the plce I bought fuses from and just asked them. They said that they are both turn on leads, but usually one will only be powered while on FM/AM modes. Sure enough one was only on in radio mode (solid blue) and the striped one was the one I needed.
Got it all hooks up and it sounds great!
