Need help on actually removing the hatch speakers

Chilton's ain't doin anything for me. It's most likely been asked, but how do i actually remove the rear speakers in the hatch area?

so far i've taken off the grill... removed every bolt i see, but i think the large plastic piece is secured under the bigger plastic piece that takes up like half the car.

What else do i do?

okay, look between the quarter glass and the plastic mount... theres on screw there... its a *****, so i just yanked the mount out of there and took the screw out after i could access it. it helps if you have the right tools too lol ^_^;

Yeah its a *****...remove the entire speaker assemble thingy...meaning the yellowish box with the speaker...Its only three screws to remove instad of four. I battled it for like 5 minutes each side but I finally got it. I hope I make sense cause im on loads of pain killerz right now

i got two of the yellow thingy's screws out. i know i need to get the other out but can't because the panel piece is in the way. i don't want to have to take apart the whole side of the car to get to it unless i have too.

what do i use to reach the screw next to the triangle glass?

beats me! ... that could have been the reason why i broke it.... Anyways, in retrospect, i would have just taken the speaker out, not the mount.

neither. They wont fit against the metal. ... well maybe they will, but before you do anything drastic, think.

no its not a ratchet and screwdiver attachment, its a 90 degree screwdiver with interchangeble bits and it ratchets. lately ive just seen ratcheting 7 in 1 screwdrivers at the local places... theyre hard to find.
