new sound system

im so excited, my old sony system was jacked, and the insurance is going thru car toys, so i am getting 2 jl w'3's, a Bp1200.1 jbl amp, and a panasonic 783u to feed it. also have 4x6 100watt door speakers, and tweeters. BTW if anyone has a 50X2 @ 4 ohms amp (really small, has to go in my dash) i will glladly pay for one... maybe a sony 552hx?

Why not get components for the doors? those 4x6 will easily be drowned out by the base messing up your front stage...

have tweeters in dash, so 1" tweets, 4x6's, and crossover/amp = component system

I was just wondering with those subs and 4x6 midbass might be a little weak throwing off the front stage. But its not that serious. I have a 200x4 amp close but no cigar..

try and keep the tweets in close proximity to the mid bass you will get better imaging. i have two 99' rockford fosgate 100az's which are 50x2 at four ohm i will part with those for like $100 ea. soory their so expencive but amps are not made as quality as they used to be.
