I had some polk speakers in my volvo that i was gonna put in my 240 once its drivable.... they sounded nice as hell in the other car and I dont think they are too expensive (maybe 80-100 per pair... I forget). they should go good with ur subs if ur current speakers are sucking.

I haven't got any speakers in the back yet.

Sounds really good though.

do s13 hatch's have 6x9's in the back? or more 6.5s... I'm hoping to get a 91 by spring, but I want to get some speakers now for my car that I can drop in it later. I'm thinking I'm gonna go pioneer all the way, except for subs and amps. They have some of the nicest sounding 6x9's I've heard... especially compared to the sony's.

I got Rockford Fosgate Punch 6.5" components in the doors and RF punch 6x9's in the rear deck i made a fiberglass rear deck to house the speakers in. It sounds really loud and clean. $200 for the fronts and $125 for the rears. I also have a 12" Power Acustik fubr rated at 700watts rms in custom slot-ported box with a 560watt rms Power Acustik amp. The whole setup is pretty loud but P.A. are not known for their sound quaility, but it bumps.

I had some type of Pioneer speakers, cant remember the type off hand, I had to custom install them in the hatch cover because they were too big for the actual speakers spot, but it came out pretty damn good and they sounded real good too...I'll figure out the model when I wake up I'm tired

I know I have an S14 but here's what I'm running:

Front - Pioneer 6.5" Coaxial Speakers (TS-A1680R’s) in the doors, and Polk Audio dB Series Tweeters up on the A-pillar.

Rear - Pioneer 6.5" Coaxial Speakers (TS-A1680R’s) on the rear deck

I know stocker S13's are 4x6, but it's common knowledge that you can fit a 6.5" in the doors no problem. If I remember correctly the Pioneers cost about $35 a pair, but they sound great!

For low end I have a set of JL Audio 10w2's mounted in the rear side area (details on my cardomain page) but that's just because I really love my music.

Stock all around and it sounds like crap ;_; And In hatches it's 4x6's all around and in the coupe 4x6 up front and 6.5" in the rear I beleive. You can upgrade the fronts to 6.5" no problem though.

Do not. I repeat no NOT buy those "systems" from pepboys/autozone!

I have 2 audiobahn 12s (for sale BTW!) but no amp. for christmas my mom got me one of those "systems" (she thinks it's cool) I hooked it up the right way, I had a guy who does circuit city installs behind me. Now my front 2 speakers in the door pop scratch and fade in and out. Just warning you in case!

gotta help out the club240 family

Lmao
