What is this for?

Well i have some amps for my car that are waiting for me to install. While i was looking at the inputs (rca) i noticed that next to the inputs are a set of outputs, also RCA. I was wondering what those outputs are for. Ill try to post a pic tomorrow. I was thinking that since it has a bandpass filter that maybe the output is for the frequencies it filters out. Idk.

on monoamps, the output is from the rca to the headunit, the input are the rca jacks for bridging the amps if im not mistaken. correct me if im wrong.

The outputs are for connecting another amp if you want to...Head unit>Amp>Another Amp Etc...

both answere are right... in some cases you use the outputs to bridge 2 amps together like the crossfire bmf1000 or the memphis 1000d amps... on older orion amps it was used to control all other amps downstream from the first... change settings on the first amp it changed the rest of the amps...

in other cases it is a straight unmodified signal passed through the amp allowing you to connect that signal to another amp...

Exactly! Two amps connected two one set of RCA outputs from your deck. You can do the same with multiple video screens I dont really understand the bridge thing though

Bridge connects the two or more amps together...making one big *** amp in effect. Bridge two 500 watt amps....get one 1000 watt signal into sub or whatever you run it to.

usually though, bridge is when you run a 2 channel amp as a 1 channel or something to that effect. Bridging amps is very technical shiot.
