right turns with an open diff are almost impossible. your left turns look pretty good though. it's hard not to be shy when it's your first time but seat time is what's important. **** i need to take my own advise and get more seat time but money and tires are an issue. but all in all, looking good

nothing to be embarrassed about. first event, got a couple of nice slides in. not bad. more seat time than me. i wish we had actual drift events out here.
surprised you were able get some decent drifts on an open. get a welded and youll tear it up! haha

i get free tires from Action Gator
i thought most other race tracks have old tires to give??..we do that

power steering is driver preference and how much muscle you got i guess. i tried it before when i was low on ps fluid. tried to transition and it snatched the steering wheel right out of my hand. HARD. there are a couple of guys on here that run no ps. maybe they can chime in

no power steering on that track i think is the best....
that event my pump came on and off, and the last one was even worse, the pump came on in the middle of the transfer we had to do which was a pretty fun ride...lol

i have not had PS* the last 5 years.. i love it
good stuff bro... very good for open diff man.. when you go locked you will be able to feel the difference and respect it.. man i did my first drift event before i left for my deployment.. i learned more in 8 hours of track time then i had in the past 5 years of trying to street drift.
you dont have the pressures of cops coming etc. and you feel free. I also felt what real drifting is like.. its not possible to feel those G forces on the streets unless you have some super Uber secret spot and even still you push it way harder on the track.
that 280zx sounded nice also
i cant wair to get back man the drift event are exploading in the Mid Atlantic Region now.
*once you go about 8-10mph the steering wheel is not hard to turn

yeah on the 280 we put originally a chery bomb, then we got a flow master tip, then got some pipe, then we got bored one day and put it all together...lol
yeah i know the steering gets easy, but my skinny asain ***....lol
the only problem i had was on the weight transfer we had to do, it first was fighting me then was like as light as a feather to steer then went away.....it just felt really wiered...lol
