1st Gear

I changed my transmission fluid about 500 miles ago, and ever since then I have been having trouble getting it in to first gear, if I am moving whatsoever it sticks at first and just feels really $#@!ty. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or have a suggestion on what the cause might be?

What transmission oil did you use? Some have additives that eat bronze synchros like the ones in the 240's tranny.

What are the one's with these addatives? I would like to stay away from them.

Should we just use the oil from the dealership? I would like something that can take some more abuse.

Or should I go with the stock stuff and just change it a lot more?

I'm trying to remember myself.... It's a certain rating. I knew it a month ago but now I'm drawing a blank. I know that Redline MTL and MT90 are different and one is godd, but the other is bad.

OK, the more I type, the sillier I sound so I'll get the actual info and post it.
