We got a 6 speed tranny coming in the next shipment from the S15 silvia SR20. You'd think this be a tight tranny to run on a RB20 or will it pop? I heard these are weak.

 

i if you drive hard any tranny will break,but yes the 6 speed tranny is weaker because of the thinner interals to fit that extra gear

 

Yeah I kinda figured that. maybe I can have all the gears tempered(cryotreated or whatever they call it?) like the nascar stuff? The 6 speed would just be so f'n awesome but I don't want to pop it just getting on the freeway or something.
