are there any aftermarket rear ends or gears for the 240?

Nissan Motorsports has some 4.60 gears for like 600 dollars any nissan dealer should be able to get them they have a couple of others but i don't have my mag with me right now sorry

4.60? anything lower...thats seems a little high for everyday street drivin...and have you heard of any stronger rear ends?

The Motorsport gears are
3.7, 4.364, 4.636
OE gears are
3.917, 4.083
don't have any suggestions on a stronger rear end

one could always go with a good ol' Ford racing rear end or shop the mopar catalog. But I assume you are looking for a direct bolt in. In that case go with the Nismo. Courtesy Parts has a really good site.
