Title says it all. Do all 5 lug 240sx's have a LSD from the factory? I thought they all did, but I've recently heard other wise.

I don't think so, the lugs don't have anything to do with LSD. I'm pretty sure none of the 240's in the US have LSD straight from the factory.

I have a 5 lug, and I'm pretty sure I don't have LSD.

I dunno, that would be cool, cuz then I'd have it.

I don't have ABS though.

I'm With Stupid is correct. VLSD came optional with ABS.

Came with the leather and security package (this is for the 95 and 96 models). i don't have leather or security alarm, nor abs, so I probably don't have LSD.

All you guys have to do is slide a jack under your pumkin. Jack the car up and spin one wheel. See if the other spins the same way.

It takes nothing for the rear to lock. I did it by hand on my rear subframe. That was with no tires.

Also there is a orange VLSD sticker on USDM VLSDs.

You can get one off models with no interior options and VLSD Marlon's car is like that.

VLSD was an option for every trim except for Se in which it came standard. Base and LE you have to see if it has been installed.

VLSD is not standard in SE. Frank and Coppertone have SEs. They have no VLSD. We have like 2 other S14 SE guys that don't have VLSD.

If you are speaking of S13 SEs I can tell you that mine didn't have it. It has it now and after using it I can tell you there is a big noticable difference.

The car drives different with a VLSD. It just punches. Not like a LSD that grabs and doesn't let go but it is a good feeling.

Good luck I hope they both turn the same way!
