bad prob: the key is stuck, the shift interlock mechanism is jammed
-90 nissan240sx
it is an automatic man and when i try to shift out of park, the mechanism wont release to corect position. Something fell through the shifter and when manuvering it out the release mechanism stop shifting. I think the brake release is mainly the problem but i dont know how to unjam the shifter or ignition and eject my key. If anyone has any suggestions about fixing this problem write back or email me at: JBird240sx@aol.com. hopefully my car dont get stolen in the mean time,thnx, Jay
