Exclamation Calling all s14 5spd swappers

I have a quick question. i got my swap done at heavy throttle. I gave them everything but the lower harness. They hooked it up everything works except my backup lights jeff at HT says they won't work until i get the lower harness. So i go by the junkyard today where i got the tranny from and i seems like the lower harness is completely intergrated into the main harness. Im i missing something. Am i looking at the wrong harness? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The lower harness plugs into the fuse box beside the battery, you should be able to unplug it. After i did my swap the backup lights didn't work and still don't even withe the 5-speed harness, so i just hooked them up to a switch.

wait a sec.... i got this all figured out the other day.
ok after you get your lower harness you need to do the following...

plug in all plugs that you can. i got my harness done at HT too, there will be a plug with 5-6 wire in it that up by the fuse box under the hood. there is 2 wires that you are looking for in it. a green with pink dots on it and a green with white stripe. match those 2 wires up with the corresponding wires in the femail pluf under the fuse box. cut them out of both plugs and connect them outside the plug. also, make sure you reverse light switch is connected on the trans. its right next to the slave cylinder on the passenger side. pm me if yoyu have any more questions or if you need a pic of this

I got the harness. Its in and my reverse lights work. But heavy throttle charged me 70 bucks to put it in. They made it sound like they would do it for free then when it was time to leave the story changes.

thats crappy that they charged you. but hey put it this way, if some one hits you while you are backing out of a parking spot, its not your fault. i would be willing to pay$70 for that insurance...

and remeber kids- safety first!! LOL

small price to pay for what you had done
