clutch assembly

sorry guys im not trying to waist ne ones time cause im a newb and this might be a stupid question but im in kind of a hurry because my car is parked in a tow away zone but anyways....

I got in my car a few hours ago and when i pushed in my clutch pedal to start my car it made a poping noise and the clutch pedal went limp. i looked to see what the problem was but i really didnt know what i was looking for because ive only had the car for about 6 weeks. but the whole assemply seems kind of lose and the pedal hangs a little twords the brake. i can tell that the clutch its self is fine but im guessing that the spring might have popped out of place i was wondering if some one could confirm for me weather the problem is the spring or the assembly it self and if its the spring how do i get it back in place?

hate to make my first thread such unintellegent one but i really just need to get my car out of there befor it gets towed
