Differences between KA tranny and RB20 tranny?

Whats the difference between a KA tranny and a RB20 tranny besides the bell housing?

without research............... but nothing major... gearing would be the most different but neither one is much stronger than the other.

gearing should be the same actually. synchros are slightly better on the RB20 tranny and any JDM 71C for that matter. silvia trannies, RB20 and 71C variant RB25 trannies all have better synchros than the US market KA24DE 71C tranny.

So this would mean that sr synchros suck also since they use the same as the KA's, FS5W71C tranny.

but SR's use a double cone IIRC whereas KA's use single
