double checking

the 95-98 240sx SE all have vlsd right?

oh ok so only a certail number or cars have it then
i see thanks, anyways of knowing a s14 has one ?

yea, it was only a option for the S14 SEs. Umm the only way of really knowing is lifting the the rear up, and spinning one wheel, if the other wheels spins the same way then you got a VLSD. Do it a few times just to make sure. Also the diff should be a lil bigger

You can also check the identification plate on the firewall, passenger side, under the hood near the right shock tower. It's 18 digits long, and it's not the VIN number (that's different)

For Feb '94 - July '95: A, C, or E, = LSD

F, or "-" = NO LSD

For July '95 - July '96: A, C, or F = LSD

B, D, or "-" = NO LSD

Found this on **********. Made me cry since mine DIDN'T have LSD damnit.

I would rather have open than vlsd. Open drifts have to be done 2x faster.

I'm ready for a 2way... I've been through enough "personal testing" with open diffs from previous cars (and, uh borrowed friends cars LOL)

Now I drift opens in the same fashion as I do 2 ways. It is funny to see owners faces when I bring the cars back.

I have also noticed something. People know when I drive other people's cars. I guess my driving style is becoming better known?
