Hey Guys/Gals,

I am having mad trouble getting the flywheel off. It keeps on spinning while I try to get the bolts off, and they are on there pretty good because of the thread lock, any help Please

there's a special tool you need to get, i forgot what its called. autozone lends tools for free.

 

hmmmm i wonder what it can be? I might go check the autozone by my house tomorrow then, but its gonna snow, so i might have to wait till friday, but any idea what the name is, or any other techniques?

this has been done on hondas quite a bit
but never touched the 240 yet
stick a screwdriver in one of the tooths and whip out the 1/2 drive breaker bar and add a cheater pipe to the end of it
now with the screwdriver in place start the turning and it will come off

 

yeah i really don't know what its called. ask for the flywheel getter off tool

 

bring it over here.. i'll blast em off with my 400ft/lb impact gun i love that thing....
