How much torque will an A/T take?

Any idea what the maximum torque the stock automatic will handle? Right now, my KA24E does 210 hp and 286 lb-ft to the wheels on the bottle, and I'd like to eventually see an even 300/350. The problem is that I don't know how long the transmission will live if it's being fed that much torque.

I'd really like to know what the automatic can handle without having to find out through trial and error, and if anybody makes upgraded internals, that would be even better.

And please, don't tell me "Swap in a manual transmission." I drive 150 miles a day commuting in this car, and on the weekends I drag race. I don't want to downgrade to a transmission that's not as good as the stock automatic for the two things I do the most.

I'll bump this once, gently.

Just want to give it one more chance to see if anyone has an answer.

From what Im told from freinds, the auto tranny isnt nearly as strong as the Manual. I doubt it'll last with much more power at the ground.
