Ka24E engine fit in de tranny?
#7
it should bolt up fine. but you need a flywheel, clutch, crossmember, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch line, clutch pedal assembly, and modify or buy brake pedal assembly, and make the holes in the firewall so you can mount the pedal and master. then you can start cutting the floor of the car so you can stick the shifter through it. sound like fun yet?

well i just finished putting a ka24e into my 93(ka24de) car using the dohc tranny onto the sohc motor and it bolted up just the same with no mods...auto tranny may be different but thats probally about it.......as long as the engine is already out and all just unbolt it and see how close it will be...whats the worst that can happen

sounds like the car had auto, but wanting to know if a manual can go on the same engine. if that's the case, then read iroc's post.
i'm am highly confused on what is going on here ... plus, you can't put an engine into a transmission. i'm sure you know that, so you must've mispoken many times. you SHOULD say (for future reference), will xxxxx tranny bolt on to xxxxxx engine. much much easier to understand

the engine will bolt on to the 5spd tranny, you just need to put the 5 spd flywheel and bolts on it along with converting the rest of the car.
and whoever said you need to cut the floor to fit the shifter, you dont. the hole is already there and its the same size regardless if the car is auto or not.
