My clutch is creaking like a old door!!!!

My clutch creaks everytime i press it down, so naturally i got some lithium grease and greased the spring under the dash. But the creak is still there. It sounds like its coming from under the car. Any body know what could be wrong????

How old is you car?

If it has some miles, then you are definately looking in the wrong place. That noise is probably your clutch throwout bearing. My clutch use to do the same thing until I got my clutch replaced and also the throwout bearing and then its gone.

I am 99% sure that is what's the problem.

Hope that helps.

And for the labor?

WD-40'd the spring behind the clutch and the coil in front of the clutch, the squeeking went away. Throwout bearing is another possibility, but that would probably be the problem if all else fails.
