Creaking Noise on Rear Driver's Side???

For the past couple of weeks there has been a creaking noise on the rear drivers's side of my car, it's coming from somewhere around the rear spindle. It makes the noise whenever there is stroke in the suspension...going over bumps, getting in and out of the car, etc. There was this noise and the car was leaning to one side so I thought it was a bad strut, replaced the strut and the leaning is gone but the noise is still there. I've checked all the suspension arms and nothing is loose, I've replaced every link and arm except for the rear lower control arms. When I grab the end of one of the rear lower control arms and pull on it I hear the noise...any ideas????? Time to replace the control arms?

yea I second the rubbing springs.... make sure your bottom and top of the springs have that rubber guard on them... also.... make sure you have no crickets in your trunk.
