Need some Advice on LSD's

i'm trying to decide on what LSD to buy...

I have a 95 S14 240sx...

I want something for the street as It will be my Daily driver, but i'll drift it once ina while and maybe some Drag/AutoX sometimes...

I'm thinking about the J30 but Ive read some Bad thigns on here...

What are preferred? Price range is up to 400... if that helps lol.

Might wanna make your range bigger then that, the nismo's a good unit that is quiet and smooth.

best link to check out OP( original poster) is the sticky at the top of the page in the drivetrain section... to see what kinda diff suits you.... for example if you are going to do auto-x and drifting you may only want to go with a 1.5 way lsd... if you going to go full out drift or even drag a 2 way would be your poison. check it out... and then just go to random sites and check out the prices for yourself. your not going to get a new diff for 400 bucks.. unless you luck up on a forum. even the OBX diff cost more than that.

as far as vlsd... its suitable for drag passes..and ok for auto-x but for drifting not so much.. the silicon heats up and reduces back to open-diff style.
