Is this possible?

o.k. im watching my street fury dvd tonight, and i seen a ferrari, have a shifter behind the steering wheel, like a f-1, and the clutch isnt even a pedal its all computerized. you could down shift 3 times without even needing a clutch pedal! and i was wondering is there any possible way you could do this on a 240 thats a grip of customizing i know that much but i was wondering could you at all possibly do something like that?

dude, that's the exact same thing that they have in the newer porsches... it's called sportronic shifting and shiz like that... it's almost a sequentially shifted manual, yet not really...

HMMMMM......

the new porches have then.....ive test drivin a honda prelude that had it.....its basically a his and hers thing....you can either drop it down in drive and go...or you can bump it over were you maunally shift the auto transmision....without a clutch....its almost like the F1 style padle shifting on the steering wheel......the new jags have it but....its a button on the steering wheel that you hit to either shift up or down....its ok and all but the computer regulates you from down shifting to far and over-reving you engine.......and it would be ok....., but if you have it on your car and the car has a 4 speed auto then you only get to shift 4 speeds.....but in the long run a manual is better

I once sat in a F355 F1 of some guy i knew. It was funny looking at the console, cuz it was bare- no shift ****, just a little switch to engage reverse.
