K....got ahold of a rb20 tranny from venus...sent my bro to go pick it up....

when i saw it i noticed the it's cut rite after the shifter to where it connects to the drive line...

I have a good ka tranny....would it be possible to switch em, and if so how hard would it be?

 

IIRC, the RB20 and KA tranny is swapable, you just need to switch the bellhousing.

 

Isn't that just a part of the driveshaft? You should be able to use the stock 240 driveshaft. I might be wrong but thats what it looks like to me. My buddy's sr trans looked the same way when he got it.

 

thats just the driveshaft. yours came with more than mine. they prob only left that in to prevent any fluid thats left from dripping out. mine had a sock on the end of it. just pop that ***** out and stick your shaft in....... ...huh, I said stick in your shaft..... huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh
