Im a bit of a noob when it comes to 240's so bare with me, but, I wanted to know if the s13's came stock with a lsd? If so which year and/or trim model. Thanks again.

 

only se's and no 94's ( it was an option-not standard)... corect me if i'm wrong.

You have VLSD and ASB if ou have HICAS. Part of the package. This is for fastbacks only. If Coupes have ASB, they don't got LSD.

and as much as people wnt to belive onyl the FB ABS 240 got a vlsd some other cars got them randomly my irst coupe had a vlsd and the pervious owner never did a damn hing to modify it

 

this might be a dumb question and correct me if I'm wrong but all of the info is kinda got me a little confused, and yes a noob question, I heard somewhere,(not sayin it's true or anything) but I read that if the differential housing has what looks like cooling fins like on an air cooled engine then it's vlsd, I was just wonderin if there's any truth to this at all, and I ahve an 89 fastback, looked up the vin number on carfax and it says se, jsut wanna know if I have vlsd or what

 

no, ... It seems that only 91+ 240sx w/ abs came with an lsd... the ka24e models didn't get to have that rear end...

 

Nope, they didn't. Just check the housing. If there's an orange sticker on it, you have VLSD.
