I found a 95 with s15 swap, yes the 6spd.

Main thing I am concerned with is reliabilty of the trans.
Do those 6spd hold up ok?

I can use all bit of info I could get on them.

This is only from what I have heard....

The S15 6-speed trans is the worst out of all the SR trannys. The gears are to close and doesnt take a beating like the other SR trannys.

 

i thought they switched to the 5 speed because there cheaper to come by and had a better gear ratio..

not to thread jack, but would a s15 6speed handle a KA thats daily driven? or it just sucks that much and not worth investing for the fun of having a 6speed ?

 

IIRC, they can take the beating of daily driving....but when you boost it and up the PSI thats when it gets weak

 

I thought blitz built up a car that was putting 450 to the wheels, on the stock S15 6 speed tranny...? yes, I read super street now and then, but still, its blitz.

No, it won't hold up, considering it will not fit on the KA block.
