short shifter

i was thinking of getting a short shifter for my 92 240. my ? is will it work with an automatic tranny and whats it take to install one.?

Short shifters are only for manual cars. Moved to drivetrain

ummm just wondering do u know wut a short shifter is?
my guess is u think it quickens the shifting of the tranny with a computer or something
short shifter=small distance not time
only on manual cars
example is if ur shifts from neutral to 1st is 2 inches in throw length it will be shorten to 1 inch...not exact here so dont flame jus for example sake

i ment after i do my 5 speed tranny swap sry my bad but does any 1 have them and how do u like htem?

Short shifters are always a plus, one of the greatest buys. If I buy another 240..I will have to get a SS because I'm so used to my Miata(short short throws)

B&M is the best to get for an SS.. i have one personally and THAT is hella short!! i could rest my arm on the center console and shift without moving my whole arm!! its wonderful!!
