there anyway to tighten up the shifting a little bit, it just feels so loose would like to tighten it up some and make it feel more direct, not sure if its possible tho.

 

try puttin in new shifter bushings... might stiffin it up a bit

 

buy a b&m short shifter or a c's short shifter

 

Either all the above or do it the freebie way and hack (cut it) ur shifter ,it would stiffen up a little but not much .

Note:this is not recommended if ur looking for better shifting in some cars it cause some akward effects.
