Tranny blew up

I was wondering if there are any other trannies for the 89 sohc S13. I was doing donuts today, and the bell housing on the tranny blew apart into many little pieces. I don't know why, but it did. Now i need a new tranny. and 89 SOHC MT trannies are not easy to come by around here. so if there is another car i can cross referrence, I would like some input. thanks.

You're stuck with the sohc tranny. The dohc and sohc have the same internals, but different housings. Sorry to see your tranny blew by the way

I figured out what happened. One of the bolts on the clutch plate snapped, and the clutch plate bent, when one of the little clips bent, it started hitting everything, and the the bell housing, flywheel, spline shaft, thowout bearing, and basically everything withing the bell housing and that touches the flewheel shattered. i have some pics. here we go

in the upper left corner here, you can see the part on the clutch plate that bent and hit everything in the housing.
