Okay guys, I bought me a 91 240sx hatch back and it's in my garage, I have about 5k to invest immediatly in the car.

I want to get a SR or RB engine. I am worried about the durability of the transmission.

I'm use to bullet proof cars, I own a MKIV 6spd Supra, which has a Getrag like the skyline, which is a VERY robust transmission.

I want to know, how strong are the SR trannys? I heard the six speeds are stronger. What about the rb25 trannys, they are suppose to be top of the line.

I want to know what is a safe whp load for the SR trannys both 6spd and 5spd, and also the rb25 tranny.
