I am really thinking about this car.. But the thing is how hard to make it 5 speed..... Also u think it is a good deal and i may see if he can go any lower... Do they make all the panels for the 240s because In that pic u can see a little damage

 

auto to manual can be done for 500 dollars or less.. check the how to section.. the writeup is there for it.


for 800 bucks its worth it.. running ... etc etc etc... very rare to find in these times.

 

seems like an okay deal if the body is straight. If you are uncomfortable doing the swap I'm sure you could pay someone to do it locally for a lot less than a shop would charge (like a person on a local forum). Tranny swap can be done for between $300-800 with used parts depending on what clutch/flywheel you buy and what parts need to be refurbished. My brother posted a good 5spd swap write up on here. (faq section possibly?)

If I would get it my friends dad said he can do a motor swap for me for like 250. But ya I would not take it to a shop just because I would like to say I did this and I did that.....

 

Ok this is some BS my dad call the guy up and said we want to look at your car and we may buy it. So then we go over there I saw the car past us 2 streets from his house and he sold it.

 

something like that happen to me once.

i was looking to by a car that was about an hour away, i get to the town and call the guy to see how to get to his house, and he tells me he sold it.

 

I had that happen to me a couple times... called about a car put a deposit down, then sold the car from underneath me. sucks
