transmission question

i was taking out my transmission today to put a new clutch in. does anybody know what what the clip is for on the very top of the bellhousing, i think its either the knock sensor or the crank pos sesor. also when pulling the transmission do you have to loosen the back motor mounts to get the bellhousing through the transmission tunnel? im having a problem getting the transmission out. its all disconnected and slid mostly out but icant get the transmission all the way out. any suggestions will be appriciated. thank you.

Is the shifter clearing the hole on the inside of the car? Just look and see if its catching anything...which back motor mounts? Theres only two motor mounts and one transmission mount. I believe the reverse sensor is near the top of the bellhousing.

on top of the bellhousign there's the "cam angle sensor" unlike the "cam position sensor" which is inside the distributor.
