ughhh omg new clutch and preasure plate and i'm having problems

I have installed a new clutch, new preasue.. then i bled the master and slave cylinder with dot 3 break fluid and did not work.. my car stuck to the floor and never comes back on its own... so i said to myself okay the my master and slave cylinder are shot.. so i replaced them.. so with new master and slave cylinder in.. i bled again with dot 3 break fluid and still the clutch is not building any preasure up and is sticking to the floor.... now what do i do? i been stuck with this problem for a week now....ohh and my doesn't wanna go into gear with the car turned on but car turned off goes into gear fine.. i'm really confuused... i read about this damper box thing but i didn't really understand it so i didn't wanna mess with it.. any ideas???

You don't need the damper box, I beleive that is there just to make it easy to bleed(I could be totally wrong).

I thought you had to use DOt 4 fluid? Ldunno:

bypass the damper box!!!

u see where the hardline coming from the master cylinder into the damper box?...

well what you want to do is instead of it going into the damper box, have it go straight into the slave cylinder, so you may have to rig some kind of hardline, or get braided hoses or something

the damper box makes bleeding nearly impossible without having a pressure bleeder

well that is pretty much what you're problem is

good luck with it

it is my understanding that you can use DOT3 in the clutch lines...

think about it, DOT3 is for brakes, which have to take high heat and very high pressures without breaking down. the components in the clutch master and slave are metal, just like brakes.

and even if I'm wrong, I dont care, cause mine works just fine with DOT3

If u want to bypass the damper box, TAKA MOTORSPORTS sells the bypass line for like 30 bux. www.takamotorsports.com. Hooks right up. Makes it a hell of alot easier to bleed the clutch lines
