Just a no name copy so it appears. Its not a B&M they just put that and nismo in the title to get more hits.

its not a B&M.. not even a copy of one. this is the ****tiest design for a 240sx shifter available.

this is a b&m:

and those are $250.

now.. MEGAN has a B&M copy and its actually really good, for about 80-100 bux:

sweet thanks for the help. now are all short shifters pretty much the same throw length or it depends? my friend has a saleen and put a short shifter on and the shifts were barely anything felt like i was using a joystick on an old school arcade game.

be careful, alot of those ****ty copy shifter make soooo much noise and lock up.
I have a B&M Version 1 and its pretty ok, it just does make some excessive noise,

The rattle was a high RPM rattle having to do with the B&M version 1. The Megan version 2 is a copy of the B&M version 2. You'll hear rattling if you install it wrong. Otherwise, no. And the copy is awesome, just not blue anodized shift plate.. woopty dooo haha. Get the MR version 2.

get the megan ver. 2 its much better ver. 1
short shifter is just a mechanical stick that shortens over all throw thats it.
stop wasting money on expensive brands and get 1 that works.
megan ver.1 and 2 is both good. i prefer 2(less work needed).
ive had a megan shifter for about a yr now ... no prob

I bought one of those knockoffs and I really didn't like it. Yeah the throw was kinda shorter but shifting gears was harder; it really felt like it didn't want to go into gear. My synchros were good and i ran synthetic gear oil so I know it was the shifter at fault. To add to that, it was noisy and didn't feel solid at all. I ended up putting my stock shifter back in after 2 days.
