OMG

I wanna be there to help you along... Im gonna do the same thing when I get back to the states. But Im gonna got the not so surgically precise route...

I plan on taking the dash and engine bay internals and swapping them into a 240. That way I wont have to modify any wiring harnesses. They should, in theory, all line up.

The mounts will need to be moved back to match up with the mission, or you can slide the mission forward and keep existing mount placement (the mounts themselves will need to be 13b). The powerplant frame might pose a problem as far as placement, I havent checked into that yet. The driveshaft will have to be cut and welded. The diff will be ok for a stock motor. once you start tuning I would definitley save some money to change that ***** for when it blows. The exhaust will need to be customized slightly. I dont think your gonna have a straight pipe when your done.

Im gonna end up with the interior looking like an FD or FC and the engine being 13b using the harness, ecu, mission and it will be single turbo for multiple reasons, one being space.

Let me know how it goes

I know it would be original and all, but isn't it a hell of a lot cheaper to just buy an RX7? IMHO, it's a better sports car than the 240 anyway, reliability issues aside.
