Has anybody ever swapped a 1JZ motor into a 240sx?


They're rated at 280hp, and I thought it might be a little different.. has anybody ever done it? Or do you think it would fit?

 

If you are going to go through that much work why not just do a RB motor instead?

Or for the same amount of money upgrade the SR motor.

I personally have not seen the Toyota motor installed in this chasis before.

 

yes, search google, there is a site that has done several and sells kits to make it fit..

 

How many HP does the rb25det give? and is that a turbo model?

 

wow, you need to do a lot of researching, not trying to flame you, but all of this info is out there... rb(engine designation) 25(2.5 litres) d(DOHC) e(electronically controlled) t(turbo)

 

Thats why I'm here lol.. trying to learn alot.. I mean don't think I'm a newbie to cars or anything but I'm fairly new to nissans and imports all together.
