13b blah.....and rb's don't break all the time. i just don't believe that. all rb's are Race Bred. now would nissan make a race bred motor that breaks all the time i don't think so. the 20,25,26 are all basicly the same cast. the rb20 from a gts-4 is the same block as a rb26. bored out more and has a different head.

and you wanna talk about crap motors that blow alot ? hunk o junk sr's. don't even get me started on these worthless hunks of alloy.

cheap design, cheap parts in them and way over priced in america. now if someone runs a rb20 or 25 way over boosted and doesn't take the steps in setting the motor up then yeah toast.

a 26 is a stroked 25 thats all. i dont care for 25's they rev so low like a ka.

but for say 300-400 hp on stock internals a rb20 is the way man.

now if a was going for 600 plus then a 26 would be the ticket to it.

nuff said.

well im shoothing for 300-370 HP on stock internals, im glad i made the right choice with the RB20. Later on though i might wanna go over the 400 mark..but thats LATER on.

I wouldn't worry about 400hp not being enough. I've only gotten 207hp out of my rb20 and I'm running 13.9s on street tires.

well for one if the motor revs higher there is more room for HP. also my main thing about high rev motors is drifting nothing like bouncing of a rev limiter trying to break traction.

Yeah it's boring when you have a slow and predictable car.

I've got a FMIC, 3in turbo back exhaust, afc, and an mbc. That's it. The motor and turbo are entirely stock. I don't really know why the hp is so low, maybe it's the dyno. With the RB20, you won't even use the extra 1000 rpms til you get a new turbo. My power drops off at about 6500rpm.

i know that the 2jzgte motor can hold up to like 1200hp. the rb26 is about the same. im not sure about the rb25 capabilities though but i know its not as good as either of those two motors. if uy talkin about puttin in the 2jzgte motor in you car because it can handle a couple hunred hp more, then wow. because if you can afford to put anymore than 600 hp into that motor, than it shouldnt matter what anybodyelse thibnks, or what else is cheaper because obviusly money isnt an option. but on the other hand, the 2jzgte wiull cost a substantially larger amount than the rb25, hell, itlss be cheaper to go with an rb26 too. but i know it can be done, ive seen pics of it on the net before.
