5 speed ka24e to auto ka24de

hey i have a quick question ive been lookin around online about this but i wanted sort of a more straight answer

if i have a 5speed 1990 240 and i want to do a ka24e to ka24de swap but the kade is automatic

how difficult will it be to convert the auto to a manual if i use my 5speed tranny

and what would i need to do in short terms?

Its really not that hard... Really like old nick said. The same as all of the other ones that have been done. Good luck though!

ok i read that article and some of the posts below it but, it went over a lot of stuff i most likely dont need, my car originally used to be an automatic ka24e, and the owner did the auto to manual swap

now that im doing a swap i bought a ka-de engine that was automatic so im using the auto ECU, and my 5speed tranny off the ka-e, will there be any problems there or just follow the wiring guides?

it will run with the auto ecu.. that is no issue. from what I gathered from Big Vinnie.. the Fuel/Ignition maps are sorta different though. But will not be a big difference.
