Question 98 240sx KA to VG30DETT swap POSSIBLE???

okay, so ive got a 98240sx SE. the ka is toooo slow, and ive been looking at the sr20det swap and still might go that route but i was really interested in the prospects of putting a 300zx twin turbo motor in my 240 instead. Labor is no big deal, just interested the parts i will need.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i won't even pretend to be an expert on this (not like i could, anyway ), but i have only heard of one person swapping a VG30 into an S14 chassis (although it was a zenki 95-96). it was over at automotiveforums.com or 240sxforums.com. if i find the thread, i'll edit my post and stick it here. best of luck w/that in the meantime.

don't think you should bother, you could get plenty power with an sr, especially with keeping the weight down

im sure anyone and everyone will tell you "any swap can be done with the right amount of money", but the time and dedication it takes to swap the vg into a 240 is insane. i've seen plenty attempts about 3weeks in ppl usualy stop and sell their swap parts opting for an rb series motor or sr.

as far as parts u may need some fabricated parts, pounding in the firewall about 1-1,5 ", custom drive shaft, new power steering lines etc.... the swap isnt cheap. its cheaper and easier to even put an rb 25 or 26 in your car than the vg but it can be done.
