anyone know???

Does anyone know where I can get a really really cheap CA18DET? even if anyone from the forums has a spare one.. I would really love to buy it.. I know I can get a good ca for like $1,500 but I don't got $1,500 and don't feel like saving.. so that's why I"m looking for one really really cheap and hell I don't even care if its blown up and needs to rebuild or if the turbo or some other random part is missing from it.. I just really need that CA to work with and to rebuild anyways for high hp and torque. thanks let me know what's out there for me...

actually i was thinking you get what you pay for... the nissan motors that were talked about in the thread seemed like a good deal until you realized there was no harness or ecu...

hey i had a question about the ca while we're on the subject. Does it have a timing chain or a timing belt?

And about getting a motor cheap, you really do get what you pay for some times.

i believe and herd that timing belts are better but to have for what you want the motor to do but only thing you need to change the timing belt every 60k.. rb's are timing belts also i think does that make you wanna barrff too. lol

unfortunately so. I knew that the rb's were, which is one reason im not goin rb. I hate belts. Ive had bad memories of belts... chains only stretch, its rare you see one break.
