average price for engine and labor??

just wondering what the total average would be for a s13 sr20det into a s13.

front clip will usually cost...2500 and labor newhere from 1000-1500. You can get a little cheaper stuff if u have a ho0k up or sumthing.

I went to the swap shop near me and they told me it was $1500 for all the labor of the swap, it'll probably vary depending on shops though

or u can do it urself and then there is no labor charges

doing it yourself is the best of course, but u need to have sum knowledge of it. Thats y im doing my own...kus gettin a shop to do it would kost to much

doing a swap yourself is the way to go.

just most of the time leave the wiring up to someone else.

just about anyone can bolt in the motor.


just read up make some notes.


and if anything happens like odd noises and so on you can usually figure it ou your self.


unless you are totally new to motors and so on. then just chunk out the bux for that first swap.

or find friends that know what to do.

That's insane... ****.. what is that like 30 hours or something?

Dam, i came on looking for info on SR20DET swaps... this is not what I wanted to hear, LOL ....

DIY is the best, u save lots of money and gain more knowledge. Just gatta make sure u know wut ur doing lol.
