Hi all.

I tried searching for some Canadian Engine Importers and the only one that I have found so far is www.jdmsource.ca although they do not sell the rb25.

I was wondering if anyone knows some links to other companies in Canada that import the rb25???

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong one.

This is one that I know of, but word from the street...Canadian Motors are junk. And this company has had some bad press.

 

hmmm... after rereading my post I can understand that it sounds like I was looking for Canadian imported engines, however, I'm actually looking for a JDM engine imported by a canadian company.

Reason is that I live in Calgary and I was hoping to be able to save some money by not having to pay customs dues by importing from the US.

It would be like paying customs dues twice, since the US company has already paid fees to get it into the states. Also, I was hoping that I would be able to get a break on shipping if I could find someone closer to where I live.

If that makes any sense....

here's one in toronto, my friend bought a KL-ZE from them and it arrived in four days; and we live in halifax, not to bad IMO

We're just south of the border from BC, we have people come down all the time and pick stuff up. We have one Rb25 clip due in around 3 weeks. I don't think calgary is too far, some of our local racers go there for a hillclimb event every year.

The people that are coming from BC to buy engines, do you know if they have to pay customs dues??
