Probably like $2200, they pulled the engine auto trans full car wiring harness and ECU, driveline and rear end. I don't think wiring would be that bad, typically Nissan uses the upper EFI harness straight to the ECU and then you adapt your lower harness like a RB swap. It's from a 1992 Oddball sedan only had 76,000km on it, or I guess about 47,000 miles. I didn't understand why all the big motor stuff was getting scrapped, but premium was almost $5 a gallon when I was over there in March makes it easier to understand.

it wouldnt be that hard to wire.

and that is a huge motor it will be hard to fit in a pushrod v8 is much smaller

It's been done somewhere I know it fits, one of our customers wants to do the swap but I'm not sure if he'll come thru with the cash or not.

Dude gimme an ls1 and a vortec supercharger and ill toss my KA like im in the olympics. Dude i like nissan power as much as anyone, but you cant beat 5.7 liters of force fed fury. I dare you to try. I love my KA as well. Its just a matter of preference. I would much rather have a VG30DETT under my 240's hood though.

I would like to do a Q swap, but I dont know about the tranny thing. I dont really want to go through the hassle for a slushbox...... just seems like a waste. I was at a local yard a week ago and I couldnt find one of those engines, both of the Q's they had were gutted. along with the brakes being gone, thats what I was really after.
if a 300ZX tranny would bolt up to it I would be very very interested in doing it, but I never looked at the bellhousings close enough to see what the differences are.

i would so bone that car! lol... i want that motor in my 240. looks pretty mean. Who cares if its a slushbox, with that much power and so little weight, you could smoke with the best of em.
