i saw one the other day at a classic car show. They let it in cuz it had a motor out of an L-82 corvette

Ive read it smartass...But BAR told me as long as everything from the other car is there, meaning smog equipment, I could take it to a refferee and have them check the swap. If all turns out well they will give me some papers so the next time I go to the smog shop they know what they are looking at. Of course it only works with AMERICAN engines...Hence why you cant do it with an sr,rb, etc. v8 might be pushing it though.

Well anyways, if you read the law carefully, it pretty much says that if the motor did not come on the car, or was not an option it cant be put in. Now there are exceptions to the rules, which allows ppl to drop huge motors in old as crap cars.
