I read that the S15 6spd tranny does not handle a modded engine too well. Things start to break with 300-350 hp. Is this true? I've also read that to do the swap minor mod have to be done to driveshaft and diff. But no one says what kind of minor mods.

 

S15 motor is pretty much the same as the S13 minus the VVT (mainly emissions crap), GT28r, and some minor differences with internals. And yes i've heard the 6 speed blows!!!!

 

everyone says the 6spd cant handle any power i would stick with the 5spd and the mods required are not that minor it needs a shorter driveshaft cannot use the stock 240 one
