I'm just about done with the swap(doing my own wiring) and i have one last question. My s13 harness has a female end to it that runs to the plug thats coming down from my dash, but the plug coming down has a female end to it as well.
Can i just cut the one from the SR and turn it into a male using one of my old KA plugs?

Yellow / Red stripe Tachometer signal
Yellow / Green stripe Speedometer signal
Orange Ignition start
Black Ground
Blue / Green stripe AC signal
Blue / Black stripe Water temp signal
