ECU fried
ECU fried
Well I just finished up on another RB20 swap, all stock, so we took it out for a drive. Got back and decided to put my Blitz ECU in his car to see what differences it makes. Well my car was sputtering pretty bad, and I assumed it was from the injectors. But when I plugged my ECU in and took it for a drive it was acting like mine was before. Now apparently i my ECU is bad. Does anyone know if it can be fixed or just retuned??? and if so who can do it and for how much?
Thanks
Thanks
I have heard of remanufatured ECU's. I wouldnt know the first thing baout getting ti done though. I would call a Nissan dealership and see what they can do. I know dealers here may not know what an RB20 is, but an ECU is an ECU. Worth a try. They may not touch it though because your is rechipped. **** man......or you can call JWT. See if they can take a look at it. Again, they may not know what an RB20 is, but they reprogram ECU's, so they may be able to see a problem with your ECU. Just a thought

Usually they would I"m sure, but, I didn't buy this ECU, it came on my clip. I couldn't produce a receipt, I'm going to try to call them today and find out for sure.

Well I talked to Blitz USA today, and they said I need to find out which factory in japan tuned ut and send it to them so they can fix it, so basically it wont happen. I talke to JWT and they can retune it, but for 595. But other than that they can't touch it, or I should say wont. SO i need to find a stock one.
