Im debating wether to get an sr20det or a ca18det. They are both good engines from what i have heard. It's probably harder to get parts for the ca18det. I autocross my 240sx alot now and at the last event i was at a guy had a ca18det engine swapped in. He said one of the main reasons was cooling issues he said when i asked y not the sr20det. The engine is cheaper to buy, but is not as poweful. Is it easy to modify it to get up to the sr20det? Does anyone have any knowledge on the ca18det or has done the swap. Are u happy wit the engine

 

Moving to engine swaps.

240sxone there's someone doing this right now. Although smaller don't under estimate the CA, it's a damn good engine and good price too. better overall than the heavy sr20 in my opinion. Lighter, turbo spools up faster, perfect for autoX.
