Engine vs Front Clip

its all in the title, what is the advantage of getting a whole (S14 SR20) front clip vs just a the engine? also if you get the front clip are the suspension monts different on the JDM Silvia compared to a usdm 240, also will stock 240 panels fit on a jdm front clip?

Your answers lie in a little button on the top left side of the page, it's called the SEARCH button.

sometimes front clips come with some JDM goodies. But not all shops/JDM transporters sell clips with extras.

With a front clip you get everything you need, simple as that.

Advantage of the front clip is that the engine mostly goes untouched with everything intacked wiring harness, ECU, engine, transmission, intercooling, etc.
When you just get a BOXED engine, transmission, sometimes parts go mysteriously missing.
The only difference you pay for is in the shipping cost. Front clips can run a budget.

What the hell are you talking about? Why do you want the pannels...you get everything you need for a succesful swap. And actually some places include the body pannels. I believe Jarco does...

is the stock JDM front (and rear) suspension mounts the same as USDM version 240? meaning will suspension that is for a JDM silvia 14 fit on 95-96 240, or do is the front just different between them and the back the same.
