ok i was looking through ebay and i found an rb25det, i dont really know how to do all that link crap but if anyone wants to just type in rb25det on ebay and tell me if thats a good deal or what? i know i would still need mounts, driveshaft and a few other things but what do you guys think?

Well that depends on where you live. I live in North Dakota. Do you know how many shops that import engines that we have here. I am sure you know the answer so I wont go there. Some people just have to thave faith. That is why if you cant buy from a local person.....buy from a respected place or at least a place that hasa history of actually gettign people prodcut. I went with Venus because 1) they were cheapest and 2)out of all teh people that had RB20's, they were the most "respected" for lack of a better word. We are gettign into quality...just the least hassle comapny for me anyway.

 

If you want a good hookup on the rb25det and want to be sure it is a good clip...one place, Underground-Motorsports.com

check it out, they got all the stuff you will need, and the rb's are from 35-40k miles...so they are excellent. They are basically checked top to bottom, turbos are fully checked, compression, leak down, etc. So check them out!
